Kim’s newest solo CD includes a duet with Dolly Parton. Biography Dove-award winning songwriter Kim McLean is originally from the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina. She moved to Nashville as an established gospel songwriter. Kim’s music career continues with over 200 cuts by many recognized artists such as: Sierra, The Martins, Trisha Yearwood, Kelley Coffey, Tim McGraw, Jennifer Hanson, Lee Ann Womack, Susan Ashton, Wynona, The Judds and a CMT hit by Billy Gilman. Other TV credits include featured songs on ABC's Hope & Faith, CBS’s JAG and NBC's West Wing. Additionally Kim has received great reviews from American Songwriter Magazine, Music Row Magazine, The Tennessean and most recently had a cut featured on the Bob Harris show on BBC in the UK! As an artist, as well as a songwriter, Kim has recorded 5 solo artist CDs and currently tours and performs her music across the country.
